Early Lessons
At 12, Joe watched his dad's health decline from working three jobs. That moment made him understand: money should work for you, not the other way around. With his dad's guidance, he started small businesses at school and used the profits to buy his first stocks on the London Stock Exchange.
Joe's University Years
From there, Joe followed his passion for finance and earned a First Class Honours degree from a London university, studying through the global financial crisis. Watching the system buckle in real time gave him his first real glimpse into how broken traditional banking truly is, a perspective that would later shape the way he approaches cycles, markets, and the long-term case for digital assets.
Career in Finance & The Bitcoin Discovery
Joe joined Robert Half International, one of the world's leading consulting firms, and within just three and a half years rose to Division Manager and Top 10 Global Performer. While building his career, he also grew a personal investment portfolio and sensed there was more ahead. After the 2013 Cypriot bank bail-in, his curiosity around Bitcoin sharpened. Despite the negative headlines at the time, he connected with Martin Davidson of Blockchain Center, who opened his eyes to what would become the greatest financial shift in history.
Early Crypto Journey
Joe applied lessons from stock investing and poured countless hours into crypto research. He made early mistakes, but his fascination with earning while he slept kept him going. Watching the traditional financial system collapse through the GFC, he knew there had to be a better way.
A Turning Point
Seeking clarity, Joe stepped away from the noise and took six months off, dedicating himself to a 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat in Sydney. It was there he asked himself the question that would change everything: what impact did he want to leave on the world? The answer came with conviction. To help everyday people achieve financial freedom through a decentralised, new-age system built on Bitcoin. That was the moment Crypto Consulting Institute was born.
The Birth of CCI
Helping others has always been core to who Joe is. In 2017, he launched CCI to empower everyday people to escape trading hours for money and reclaim their time. His proven 5 Pillar Investment System has guided thousands of students to financial freedom. Over the years, his clients have retired early, paid off mortgages and even bought cars for loved ones. Many of today's CCI mentors were once clients themselves.
Recognition & Leadership
As CCI grew, Joe was invited to speak at Barclays in London, the Bitcoin & Blockchain Fair, and on networks like Channel Nine and Ten. In 2020, he was headhunted by TradeSmith under Agora Inc. to help traditional investors safely transition into crypto.
Traveling The World
After the 2021 crypto bull run, Joe stepped back from the desk and spent the next three years travelling the world. He lived in Koh Samui for a year and a half, explored Iceland and Egypt, and cruised through Europe, taking in Monaco, Lake Como, Switzerland, Paris, and Barcelona. The journey continued with downhill biking in Whistler and racing a Lamborghini in Dubai, a reminder that the long game in crypto isn't just about building wealth, it's about creating the freedom to live fully on your own terms.

The 2024 CCI events brought serious investors together through premium experiences built for connection, growth, and meaningful breakthroughs. Joe represented CCI at two of Australia's biggest blockchain events: the Australian Crypto Convention 2025 in Sydney, connecting with industry leaders and exploring the latest in DeFi, NFTs, and emerging opportunities, and The Blockies, the Digital Economy Council of Australia's flagship night and the most prestigious event in the Australian blockchain calendar, where CCI and Joe were recognised across multiple categories including Organisation of the Year, Excellence in Education, Community Leader of the Year, and Blockchain Leader of the Year.
