Company Overview

Crypto Consulting Institute (CCI) was born from the belief that money should work for people, not the other way around. Shaped by early lessons in finance and the challenges of watching his father work tirelessly across three jobs, founder Joe Shew turned hardship into a mission: helping others achieve both personal and financial freedom.

What began as Joe’s personal pursuit of independence has grown into a global movement. Today, CCI has guided 3,000+ investors worldwide, supported by a leadership team with over 71+ years of combined crypto experience. This expertise has helped everyday people and seasoned investors alike build confidence and success in the fast-changing world of digital finance.

At its core, CCI is more than just an institute, it’s a commitment to lifelong transformation, giving people the tools, strategies, and mentorship to create wealth while unlocking personal growth that extends far beyond investing.

The CCI Story

Early Lessons
At 12, I witnessed my dad’s health decline from working three jobs. That moment shaped my belief: money should work for you, not the other way around. With his guidance, I started small businesses at school and used the profits to buy my first stocks on the London Stock Exchange.
2000
Career in Finance
I joined Robert Half International, one of the world’s leading consulting firms, and within just 3.5 years became a Division Manager and Top 10 Global Performer. Yet while I built a career, I also grew a personal investment portfolio and sensed there was more ahead.
2014
The Bitcoin Discovery
Everything changed when Bitcoin landed on my desk. Despite headlines declaring it “dead,” I stayed curious and connected with Martin Davidson of Blockchain Global. He opened my eyes to the greatest financial shift in history. That was the day my life truly changed.
Early Crypto Journey
I applied lessons from stock investing and poured countless hours into crypto research. I made early mistakes, but my fascination with earning while I slept fueled me forward. Watching traditional finance collapse only reinforced my conviction: there had to be a better way.

2016
A Turning Point
Seeking clarity, I attended a 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat in Sydney. It was there I asked myself: What impact do I want to leave on the world? The answer became clear—helping others achieve financial freedom. This was the inception of the Crypto Consulting Institute (CCI).
The Birth of CCI
Helping others has always been my core value. In 2017, I launched CCI to empower everyday people to escape trading hours for money and reclaim their time. Our Proven 5 Pillar Investment System has since guided thousands of students to financial freedom. Over the years, clients have retired early, paid off mortgages, and even bought cars for loved ones. From students to retirees, many have created 6, 7, and even 8-figure profits with CCI’s guidance. Many of today’s CCI mentors were once clients themselves.

Recognition & Leadership
As CCI grew, I was invited to speak at Barclays in London, the Bitcoin & Blockchain Fair, and on networks like Channel Nine and Ten. In 2020, I was headhunted by Tradesmith under Stansberry Research to help traditional investors safely transition into crypto.

Joe Shew is an investor, educator, and visionary who has spent over a decade helping everyday people achieve financial freedom through cryptocurrency. His own journey from watching his father sacrifice health for money, to managing global finance teams, to discovering Bitcoin in 2014, inspired him to create the Crypto Consulting Institute (CCI).



Joe founded CCI to help people, just like his father, break free from trading hours for money and instead build wealth through smart investing. His mission is to make crypto education accessible, practical, and life-changing.
