CRYPTO CONSULTING INSTITUTE AND BRIGHLIGHTS CHARITY JOIN FORCES TO HELP FILIPINO FAMILIES
Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting a charity that CCI supports, BrightLights, in the Philippines, created by a dear friend of mine, Michael Bell and his dad.
BrightLights is dedicated to using education as a powerful tool to uplift Filipino families out of poverty. They have proven that when even one family member completes their schooling system and graduates, they can break the generational poverty cycle and create a better future for their entire family.
To give you some statistics, the students I met and their families receive no financial or survival support from the government or healthcare. If they were to work seven days a week in a manual labour job, they would earn between P2000 to P3000 per week ($36 to $55). However, by going through the BrightLights school system, their starting salary would be between P4000 (Store Clerk) to P8000 (Local Nurse) per week ($72 to $145). This translates to at least a 100% to 163% increase in their family’s income as an individual. As they progress in their careers, this income will significantly increase, allowing them to fund the education of their entire family and break the cycle of poverty for future generations.
Given I have two blessings of my own, I had tears in my eyes seeing how these kids and their families were living and hearing about their stories. This should not be happening…. But yet they still smile with full hearts of hope.
CCI have donated a percentage of profits to BrightLights and hand delivered food to individuals there…. But we recognise this mission is way bigger than this and we ask for your support.

Scholarship Program:
Through their scholarship program, they provide deserving students with access to quality education in alternative learning, elementary and high school, college, and vocational training. Your sponsorship can empower these students to achieve their dreams and transform their lives.
Infrastructure Development:
BL aims to improve and expand our school facilities, including constructing new classrooms and upgrading existing infrastructure. These enhancements will enhance the learning experience for our students and allow them to accommodate more students in need.
Skills Training Workshops:
BL organise workshops in computer literacy, financial literacy, vocational training, and entrepreneurship. These workshops equip students with practical skills for the future and empower them to succeed in their chosen fields. Your support can help BL continue providing these valuable training opportunities.
Here are some ways you can partner with BL to make a difference:
Sponsorship: By providing financial assistance for a student’s education, you can cover their tuition fees, books, and other necessary expenses. We aim to onboard an additional 100 students next year and change their trajectory through education. The cost is $500 USD per student/year, so your contribution will directly impact lives.
Donations towards Projects: We have specific projects that require funding, such as:
- $1,000,000 to purchase a furnished building for our growth
- $20,000 for mindset/EQ/CQ training
- $15,000 for IT literacy training, $10,000 for new computers
- $10,000 for entrepreneurship training.
Volunteer Opportunities: We welcome volunteers who can share their expertise, mentor students, or assist in various projects and workshops. Your time and knowledge can make a significant difference in the lives of our students.
